I came late to this book. It was on my TBR since publication, but it never crossed my path when I had a gap in the reading queue. Now that it finally did, it almost feels too late? There's things to learn from it for sure, but I feel that in a post-Floyd world either we already know them or we're not interested in knowing them. But if for whatever reason someone does want to learn, this is a good, empathetic overview of many of the issues at play.

This is one of the essential reads for every teenager (and adult too) in my opinion.

This book shows in a great way how the situation of systematic racism is in many modern communities today, and that the fight for equal rights is still far from over. 

Would recommend for everyone in need of some inpiration to stand up for yourself and others, even though it feels like there is no end to the fight.
