Stories so good you almost wish Paris was real. Originally published in a 1905 French science magazine called "Je sais tout" (I Know All), my favorite ones are the first three (his arrest, his time in jail, his escape), his origin (The Queen's Necklace), and his first heist (Madame Imbert's Safe). They're all pretty short and fun, perfect for a quick read. I only read good books and if I talk about it I'll just give away the plots, so I'll just say that he's an engaging and charming character and I even gave it a 5/5 so just read it. It's like if you were reading a Holmes novel but Holmes was a criminal and also more interesting and also his author didn't want to kill himself.

I am a little dissapointed in the book, I was hoping more and also a more fluent story. The tv series was way better. Still this is a person that could only exist in fiction. And it was fun to read how he plays everything off.

this was a fun read at the beach - not really a fan of short stories tho, because i feel like we don't get enough clues to figure the mistery out ourselves, and just get the answet to how it was done a couple of pages after it even happened. this was missing in comparison to sherlock holmes our poirot books, where we get all the clues and enough pages to try and figure it out, and when we don't we get the detailed explanation. however, this is the nature of a short story, so i can't really complain

It was really an interesting and a fun book to read. I will say that the book and the series are completely different from each other, so you can't compare them.

The book is made out of small stories that go more deep on Arséne Lupin's adventures. While the serie shows more about his personal life and how he pulled some tricks off.

But overall it was a nice book to read. And i do encourage you to watch the serie

Read the Swedish translation that was 111 pages. It was good and interesting. I started this book because of the new series Lupin on Netflix and it was fun to see the inspiration.
