My favorite part was Jaya exploring India and getting to know the people who lived there. My least favorite part was Jaya feeling sorry for herself. If you get bogged down in the first 3 chapters, hold out for the rest, it majorly changes focus.

Loved the path of discovering family history and exploring the Indian culture I had never really been too aware of. At some points it was heart wrenching, but there was something in every character explored that had me loving them and wanting them to be happy with their choices and life.
