Ik mocht dit boek lezen met de buddyread van @ilonaslevenbijls @lsuitgeverij @zininfeelgood 

Dit boek gaat over Yasmen en Josiah. We zijn een paar jaar na hun scheiding en na heftige tijden pakken ze het leven weer op. Ze managen een restaurant en hebben 2 kinderen samen. 
Contact genoeg tussen elkaar. 

Positieve punten:
-de manier waarop er gesproken word over therapie 
-mooie beeldende schrijfstijl 
- prachtige Citaten 

Mindere punten 
-iets teveel spice. Spice had een functie maar mocht gewoon iets minder
-kon op momenten langdradig worden. Ik wilde soms naar beide hoofdpersonen schreeuwen "jullie houden van elkaar. Doe ietssss" 

Al met al geef ik dit boek 4⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ik heb echt genoten van het lezen van dit boek!

This started just a tad slow, but when it hooked me…IT HOOKED ME!!!! The tension and chemistry between the characters made this book hard to put down.

It’s a good story with likable characters, but it’s just soooooo long! I would have rated it much higher if it was about 100 pages shorter, because there’s so much of the same type of sentiment being expressed over and over again. But if you cut out some of the repetitive what you’re left with is a touching story with a good bit of spice and a whole lot of heart
