This was such a beautiful read. How it deals with grief, loss, and love was so powerful and heart wrenching. I didn’t expect to do so much reflecting and self reflection from reading this book but I did.

I hate how I feel about characters being poorly mistreated in books because everyone not being understanding of Yas’s pain and what she went through was so upsetting to me. The only one who didn’t upset me was the son. It’s almost like it’s hard for me to remember that this is just fictional and I should want to fight behind the main characters. But even despite all that and I hate to say this because this is such a beautifully written book that explores really heavy and important topics, but it was slightly boring to me. I almost borderline hated Yas

The story you did not know you needed. Two people navigating all of the emotions that come from divorce. KR writing is exceptional! The way she was able to describe grief, depression, trauma was beautiful. I do not always go into stories expecting to have a good time because stories like these need to be told. This story was REAL with no fluff. Even though this book took my heart and stomped on it, I enjoyed it and I appreciate her writing about the tough topics (mental health etc.).

Seemed like the only reason for getting back together was jealousy and physical feelings.

I really tried to like this book. But my God the main characters are just so emotionally immature, obsessed with having sex, and keep being h0rny out of nowhere... like please, get a grip and be serious with the meetings, discussions, and arguments💀
