Thought I posted a review for this book months ago but somehow it got missed. The book was disappointing, to say the least, and unmemorable. It might do better as a physical book than an audiobook. The narrator was okay.

(I received this audiobook ALC via NetGalley in return for an honest review. Thank you.)

This entry continues the whimsical journey of Zib, Avery, the Crow Girl and Niamh. So far this is my least favourite out of the three.

We spend a decent amount of time dealing with a ruler of the Up-and-Under, which might have contributed to my overall enjoyment being slightly lower.

This was also the first one that I couldn't get my hands on the audiobook, which does mean I can honestly say that I think if you have the option, go for the audiobooks. The narrator does a fantastic job really highlighting the dark fairytale vibes.

I'm still very interested to see where the next novella will take us, especially as it is the conclusion.

I've loved the other books in this series, but I have struggled to stay focused in this one. Somehow, I no longer care about the characters, and their adventure here is just exhausting to read. At some point, I'll come back to it, because I do want to know how the group gets out of the realm of air, but as it stands, it feels like all hurt no comfort.
