I enjoyed this trilogy of books. There is one story that weaves throughout all three, so I don’t think any of the three would stand alone, but they fit well together. I liked the stories, growth, and action. There was a lot of clear communication through eye contact, which kind of made me roll my eyes. Who know, maybe some people do speak conversations through just a gaze? I sure don’t.

Tiny spoiler: I was not ok with one aspect of the trilogy. Even though one husband is a clear weasel from the get-go, it doesn’t make it ok to justify an affair. No affairs happened—but two characters made it clear (later) that they had been in love for a long time. Even if it works out in the end... that’s a hard pass from me. I liked the books, but because of this issue, I would have a hard time recommending the trilogy to anyone.
