Like with any anthology - some stories really hit the point, some not much - but the charity is amazing so what more can we ask?
In most anthologies there is ultimately one story I don't like or just do not enjoy as much as the others but this one - i enjoyed them all!
From vampires to koala shifters and all sorts in between - this is a paranormal lovers dream read of novelllas!
All so different but sweet and heartwarming and I found a few new authors to go read!

You Can't Spell Necromancer Without Romance - Alice Winters (3)
I found this underwhelming and with none of the usual Alice Winters humour unfortunately.
Hot Date - Eliot Grayson (3)
The spell ingredients definitely made me laugh, but I wasn't really invested in the outcome.
Sweet Treats - Grae Bryan (4)
Ridiculously cute!! My first time reading about a pixie and it was as adorable as I thought it would be.
Looking 4 Furever - Kiki Clark (3)
Cute! First story that's really utilised the H2H app which was nice.
Locked In Love - Lark Taylor (3)
I actually think there was too much going on for such a short story. I'd rather the focus was on the two characters and their relationship, not on side characters when there's not really time to delve into other things.
Love Me Love My Dogs - Macy Blake (2.5)
Feeling a bit like Goldilocks because this felt too fast

a great bunch of short stories.
I loved this anthology, it was full of brilliant shorts all around Valentine’s Day and Cupid. I honestly read and loved them all.

A collection of paranormal short stories filled with love. Cupid has decided to mess a little with his favorite dating app and bring true love to some of his favorite paranormals. From werewolves, fairies, and demigods, he sets them all on the path to their one true love. I love these books as they are quick and easy to read on a lazy weekend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
I started off liking this story as I do with most of Alice’s books. There’s a lot of quirky and silly things happening and I like that about her stories. Unfortunately, there was TOO MUCH happening here and it ended up becoming repetitive for me. I liked the plot, but I found myself wishing it was expanded to novel length.

I would honestly read a full book about Xan and David. You don’t see a lot of curvy rep in this genre and I loved how Xan just busts right in and is like ‘here I am and I’m going to do whatever to make you happy and I love your soft bits’. Also love how they told off the jerk ex, that’s always my favorite part when the MC gets ‘justice’ bc I’m petty lol.

I liked this one, very sweet. Perri and Tobias have liked each other from afar, but Perri as a half pixie won’t make the first move and Tobias being hurt before has preconceived opinions and mistakenly applied them to Perri and won’t make a move either. Cupid has other plans. They both really had applied predetermined opinions about the other based on looks and I really liked that once they talked it out they were PERFECT for each other. Awesome story, loved it.

This is a cute story about two mates who won’t make the first move and need some help. The last chapter (4) really should have been an epilogue or at least labeled now far in the future it was though. Other than that I liked it quite a bit.
Locked in Love, by Lark Taylor

This one is (I’m assuming) set in the same universe as the Reckless Damned as I knew tidbits about vampires and water mages. Ash and Lochlan are perfect for each other and Ash literally leaves Lochlan speechless when they first meet. I also really love reading Scottish accents, I would probably combust if I heard one lol.
Love Me Love My Dogs, by Macy Blake
⭐️⭐️
This started out ok, then quickly devolved into chaos. I’m actually quite disappointed that it took such a nosedive because I liked the wittiness of the characters and that this was the first (in order) with an enby character.
Not So Cupid, by Mika Nix
⭐️⭐️⭐️
The idea for this story is good, complete opposites who end up being fated mates but with a slight familial twist. There was just something off about it to me throughout the whole story but I can’t name one specific thing. It was ok.
Starry Night, by Pandora Pine
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not my favorite. Orion is full of himself and a jerk to Kaden even before he meets him. Once he does apologize the ‘I love you’s’ come in immediately and I started skimming. Orion didn’t deserve Kaden at all. It’s too bad bc the story was pretty good, but would have worked better for a novel I think.
The Hidden God of Open Doors, by Tavia Lark
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ok, I liked the story of Rune and Raider but I absolutely LOATHED the tense it was written in.
Love Under the Sea, by Taylor Rylan
⭐️⭐️
I just wasn’t feeling this one. Silver and Charlie had zero chemistry. Just gonna leave it at that.

As with most anthologies, it was a mixed bag.
I personally dislike insta-love and while I appreciate the difficulty of bringing complexity into the short story format with a relatively restrictive theme, not only of the dating on valentines but also the apparently implied insta-lovie-ness of the fated mates thing, only a few of the stories were interesting. I got the book because my reading challenge asked for an anthology and Alice Winters, one of my favourite authors, took part in this one. I really liked hers and Tavia Lark's story. And the one with the demon summons.
