A detailed and funny memoir about living with ME/CFS. I especially enjoyed the daydreams of mobile beds and magical apartments. The ending was abrupt, but somehow fit the vibe of the work.
I love memoir comics and can never get enough. Another good one about a young woman dealing with an illness that keeps her always resting and bedbound.

A quick story with some fun styling but ends rather abruptly.
Memoirs are great things, but the problem is if you follow every little thing you did, they can get tedious. In this case, Tessa, who Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, explains how her days go, and what work she can get done. And most of the time we see her ignore her illness and try to do realistic things, that she finds just aggravates the illness.
The second part goes over how she is imaging a graphic novel she wants to write, and she realizes she needs to go to Disneyland in order to get the feel for where the story takes place. This has plot and intent, and build, and was much more interesting than the first half of the book.
If you want to read about how much she suffered, then this might be an interesting book to read. I found that I only really enjoyed reading the second half.
Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

yep, that is exactly what it's like! Word to my creatively motivated ME/CFS peeps. We are not alone.

funny, imaginative, and authentic. I had hoped for a bit more of an arc/graphic memoir style, but that's not necessarily what this book is trying to be
The art was very detailed and there was always more to ogle at in every page. It was intriguing to see what the chronic fatigue condition is like for people living with it, although a super active extrovert like me finds it a bit hard to relate to. Within these pages you can definitely get to know the author though, and her sweet and bitter moments.
2.5 stars rounded up. I was enjoying this, but felt like it ended too abruptly.
