What a wild ride! I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars, but rounded down. There were lots of red herrings but I felt some of the actual answers were revealed either too early or too late. I enjoyed the large cast and different perspectives. The diary chapters both shed more light and also left us with questions too. The most fun for me was the slow unraveling to the final crime details after so much speculation. Highly recommended for domestic suspense fans!

Definitely took a different turn than I expected, had some twists. I did get bored in some parts and was predictable towards the end. Could have been shorter.
Moderate: Sexual assault
This had a slow start and a lot of characters to keep up with in the beginning and remembering how they’re all connected but by the middle of the book I couldn’t put it down. I was racing through the pages as fast as I could and my mouth was on the floor at the ending. You will never guess the twists this book delivers!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and also deeply flawed, and the story was unique. I loved the different perspectives from multiple characters, and it kept me engaged.
The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I guessed the end about 3/4 through the book - it wasn't really a guess; it was basically written into the book. It was too early, and I wish I wouldn't have known how it ended until the very end. The remaining 3/4 of the book were just explaining what I had already put together and it wasn't quite as interesting. However, before the author wrote it into the book, I didn't guess the twist and it was a really good one.
But overall, a really good story. Kit Darling is a maid who loves to snoop in the houses she cleans - we hear her perspective in a diary she's been instructed by her therapist to write. The plot thickens when she starts cleaning the house of someone from her past, someone who had a seriously negative impact on her past. Instead of walking away, she continues to clean, and things start to get a little strange.
Solid & enjoyable read - would recommend.

Although the story was interesting, there were a few holes/unanswered questions.
SPOILER Alert
Why did she frame them only for her best friend to spill everything? And maybe I missed something but if Daisy was going to get what she deserved, why didn’t we find out the mystery female that was with her in the car and that part come to fruition? What did Mals husband having an illness have to do with anything? Similarly what did Mal retiring early have to do with anything? Who was the other guy that assisted Boon and Kit at the setup scene? Why did she make a final post when she’s supposedly trying to stay hidden/fake dead?
