Personally I found it very annoying to watch the characters want to tell each other things but choose not to, this may not be annoying to other readers
Very good book about a dysfunctional family and how they deal with their dysfunction during an all paid vacation in Europe. There is a mother with an adult son and two adult daughters. This is about coming out, bad marriages, dealing with your personal feelings and how it affects you and your family.
Overall this is a very good book and I highly recommend it. (No murder mystery here:))

A good story with some interesting views into "cruising", which now I may never get to do :( I found it interesting that I could see all the points of view and commiserate with the characters. Don't know if it's because I', older or because of exceptional writing!

My main issue with this book is that it can't figure out what it wants to be. The cover and blurb are advertising a silly family vacation with a heartfelt ending, while the actual plot bounces between trying to carry that out and dealing with some extremely heavy topics. The writing just isn't good enough to handle both.
Graphic: Alcoholism, Suicide, Suicide attempt
Moderate: Infidelity, Toxic relationship
Minor: Sexual content
This book sucked me in almost immediately, I really liked the characters and the subtle allusions to major plot points that had me thinking one way about events but come to find out I was wrong and the characters went in a different direction to achieve the goal. It was a super quick, fun read.

Eh, this was… fine? Ok? I was thinking a reasonable 3 star read, but really disliked the ending which was both non sensical and provided no resolution. I don’t generally mind if books are about superficial characters but I couldn’t find myself warming to anyone, or despising them for that matter. In fact I had such little feeling towards any of the characters, possibly by due to the limited character development, and so I feel like I was only going to be left non plussed.
Not my favorite Reese’s book club pick but I didn’t hate it. I needed more depth. You have all of these characters with these deep rooted issues and yet I’m not connecting with them emotionally. I needed something more from them so I could establish that connection. That is what this novel was missing for me. I did enjoy the twist at the end and some unexpected events. That was my favorite part of the book. I also enjoy how all of the characters are really figuring out who they are, because aren’t we all?
