Bought this book on a whim but was really pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! The writer has a clear knack for building up and subverting both reader and genre expectations, which I really enjoyed. Another thing I really enjoyed were the pov switches, especially since it showed every character's limited knowledge of the world around them. Runs a little long, but I found the tension doesn't suffer under it
