This is one of the oldest books on my TBR, and I don’t know why I put off reading it for so long, especially since I love a good dystopian novel. It was a bit of a slow start, but knowing it’s a saga helped forgive that. And once it got going, it really took off. The world building was great, I felt connected to the MCs, and the plot had my interest the entire time. I found the concept of life in a self sustaining underground world fascinating and terrifying. It definitely left off on a bit of a cliffhanger, but that just has me wanting to read the next one even more. I’m excited to see what happens next, especially with the FMC.

One of my favorite sci-fi series of all time starts pretty strong with Wool. The world is interesting and mysterious and I couldn't put it down!

This book felt SLOW. I couldn’t finish it and switched to the audiobook. I still had to renew my audiobook library loan before I could finish that one. Im planning on attempting the second book as an audiobook. Not because of a great cliffhanger but because I drive 1.5 hours a day for work and might as well
