I love a badass woman. I’m always happy to see Asian representation in stories. These people are otherworldly, but they’re chosen to be Asian. So cool. I’m excited to see where this story heads. It would’ve been fine as a stand-alone, but seeing a second book draws me in. I love the characters, and I can’t wait to see what happens next with them. The art is also super cool!!! Very Junji Ito, the gorey parts.

A little slow, but once the reveal of what was actually happening with mom and dad, while they are teaching their twins a lesson...I had a good time! Pretty art which matched the horror/comedy vibe.

It was a decent read, but very quick and I did not feel the most connected to the characters. I wish it was a slower burn.
