I'm really conflicted on this one... I really wanted to like it, because the concept and overall storyline are very very fun. And while I understand and can tell this was very much a labor of love from a self-published author, this just lacked the structure, coherence, and world building that a proper editor would help bring about.

I love the book
Its a great retelling of the biblical Story but gay. And its fascinating to see how lucifer devolpes his pride and becomes the fallen angel and devil.

Something just didn’t click for me with this one. It started off really good, I enjoyed the writing style and what we were exploring of the angels.
And then it went off tilt and became a slog. The language irked me too because while the writing was so flowery and archaic feeling, the speech was not, it didn’t match. I felt they spoke more modern than the flowery language that was working them into being and that created a disconnect for me.
I also just found the story slipped away in an infuriating way that I can’t articulate well.
