A really quick and easy way to understand feminism. For anyone curious & unsure about feminism, I think this is a great place to start. I was looking for more meat, but I’m a bit farther along in my journey.

Chimamanda beautifully addresses the negative connotations surrounding the word 'feminism' and reminds us what this movement truly means. It reiterated all my feelings towards the topic in a concise and impactful manner. It talks about how both genders suffer in different manners. I especially liked this thought - 'Gender defines how we should be instead of recognising what we are'.
