An uninspiring addition to Fairest. I don't like how it portrays Cinderella, and also didn't think it was especially necessary considering she already has her own spinoff series. Didn't add anything to the characters or overall storyline that I could tell. I read it five hours ago and I already forget what the point was. Poor art in the opening story especially, didn't feel like the way Snow White's face was drawn reflected what she was saying and doing.

Oh dear god, how many books can you make to milk that cash cow? It was awful with the stupidest story and the most awful drawing.

This volume tells another story about my favorite Black Ops Secret Agent, Cinderella. The premise is great and ties in closely with current events in the main Fables series, unfortunately the dialogue wasn’t that great in this one. I zipped through it quickly, but I missed character development and a cohesive story.

This collection has secret spy Cinderella tracking down someone trying to kill Snow White. Turns out you get lots of back story on Cinderella since it turns out one of her coach mice stayed human after midnight when he told a woman he loved her. Turns out he has been having love affairs and getting mundys pregnant for centuries and releasing the offspring in the wild to take care of themselves. These offspring have been collected and being used as henchmen by someone with an axe to grind against Snow White. The upside is you get to meet an Indian god the downside is the baddie reveal does nothing to further the main line plot at all.

I like Cinderella as a Bond-iesque character but the dialogue, ugh... Some of the lines that the female characters said were clearly and undoubtedly written by a man. And one that has no clue about anything apparently.
