CW: violence, drug use, death
This was another great book in the series. It starts with a teenage bonfire being interrupted by an injured stranger. Things just snowballed from there. We learn new things about the council and what they seem to be planning. We learn about the origins of Rockton, as well as the First and Second Settlements. I loved seeing the relationship moments with Eric. I also enjoyed seeing April and Casey exploring their sisterly relationship. There were so many things going on that you could almost see all the thoughts and theories swirling in Casey's head. Definitely recommend.
