This was a really beautiful book about how novels can profoundly touch our lives, and how different the same book can be to each person. I highly recommend this for all my book loving friends (which is probably everyone on my Goodreads list haha).

Beautifully written. Little vignettes woven together, demonstrating the various ways a book can touch people’s lives.

It was a sweet book. I just need some more action. I also struggle with all the different stories. I’m not a shirt story kind of girl.

Love stories like this, interconnected short story style. It's been a long time since I've read a book that's hooked me so thoroughly at the beginning. The themes of loss and love were like a wool blanket wrapping around each character. The author would give you the pieces to draw your own conclusion, and I like that she trusted her readers to pick up the rest of the puzzle and arrange it as you saw  it. I will definitely be reading more of Bauermeister !!
