I liked this book because it really fleshed out the supporting cast of the trilogy. Katniss proves to be a strong female character even if you want to shake her for being oblivious a lot of the time.

one of my favorite movies ever, and now one of my favorite books. the character development from the first book is literally my favorite thing in this book. in addition of course to the beauty that is finnick odair & the array of new characters we get to meet. they felt like a weird found family for just a bit of time while they were all in the arena. i really really really love this book with all my heart. ALSO. the romance here was just so beautiful and perfect i was GIGGGLINGGGG whenever peeta opened his gorgeous mouth. katniss & peeta 4EVER.
