OMG what to say about this amazing book! I’m in love with this series. The vibes I get reading this are amazing. It sucks me in and keeps me entertained the entire time. I absolutely love getting to know all the new characters that were introduced and seeing what makes the characters tick. The writing style is amazing and is so descriptive it takes you and transports you to her world! I love it!!!
I can now see why people were raving about Peeta, this is when you see how he is constantly trying to protect Katniss. I must admit watching the movie I was a Gayle fan but reading it I’m a Peeta fan.

Después de leerlo varias veces online, al fin pude comprarlo en físico. Los años pasan y esta historia me sigue encantado. Suzanne Collins demuestra lo buena escritora que es. En llamas es mi favorito de la saga. Katniss y Peeta pasan por tantas cosas y es loco pensar que solo tienen 17 años. La revolución toma el protagonismo en la obra, mostrando un gobierno injusto. En este libro aparece Finnick, el hermosísimo Finnick, imposible resistirse a sus encantos (el ya es motivo suficiente para releer el libro varias veces). Cada capítulo es más adictivo que el anterior. Y el final te deja totalmente intrigado. Es bueno leer una historia en donde la protagonista es la heroína de la historia y no la que necesita ser salvada. Un libro que revolucionó la literatura juvenil.

A teenage dystopian sequel set in the super future of the United States. Our heroine is an angry teenage girl who has to learn how to survive, again, by any means necessary. She also has to figure out how to save the boy who she's fake dating, again.
I have loved this series for years and this was my third re-read of the books. Every time I read them I find something new, especially as I have aged and my perspective of the world has changed.

Actually, it's quite a good book but definitely suffers from second book syndrome. A lot of the plot developments happen away from Katniss' perspective, and we see her find out after the fact or cotton on later on when things are already in motion. Her voice is interesting enough, and the overall plot is good and compelling.
