I don't think there are enough words to describe this book. Beautifully written and emotional. The characters captured my heart all while ripping it out to mend it again. Woodrow and Jolie endured way too much. The amount of indescribable torment they had to endure was beyond heartbreaking. The ending hurt but also made me so happy. I couldn't believe how it all came to the end. It will definitely leave you feeling all kinds of emotions. This book was massively messed up and also cathartic to read. I am so glad to have read this book and can't wait to see what is in store for one of the other characters.

The book itself was good, but I have to warn you that it's really hard to read, especially if you don't pay attention to the trigger warnings (lemme tell you, they were NOT kidding) this book was the definition of dark and trauma. Well written and emotional, just not my cup of tea (it was too much for me)

The Darkness Beyond the Daisies presents an intriguing psychological thriller, centering on a protagonist with multiple personality disorder. This unique perspective adds depth to the narrative, making the story engaging as it explores identity, memory, and reality through shifting viewpoints.

One of the novel's central dynamics is the relationship between Woodrow and Jolie. While their interactions serve as a crucial part of the story, they tend to feel repetitive at times, cycling through similar conversations and conflicts without much progression. This aspect slightly dampens the pacing, making some sections of the novel feel slower than necessary.

However, the book redeems itself in its final act. The story takes an unexpected turn, leading to a well-executed twist that ties the narrative together in a satisfying and impactful way. The conclusion is both clever and fulfilling, leaving a lasting impression on the reader.

Overall, The Darkness Beyond the Daisies is an engaging read with a fascinating protagonist and a strong ending, even if some parts of the character interactions could have been more dynamic.
