Solid start, but didn't blow me away. Looking forward to what's to come. Continuing on to Part 2...

I like this story, but didn't enjoy this serialized version. Cutting up the plot was kinda a bummer

I am so glad that I was lucky enough to read these as the books were coming out each month. I loved the serial format and the anticipation of the next book...

what I liked
- the general atmosphere
- the gore/horror was terrifying

what I did not like
- use of n word
- the main character had a UTI and kept waffling on about it- dude why?
- I feel like there was lot a lot of depth imo, will continue to read the series to see if that depth is gathered
