Well, this was not bad. I think a fair amount of readers will enjoy it.

But when you read as much Pride and Prejudice JAFF as I do, it takes quite a bit to make an impression, and this just didn’t do a whole lot for me as an individual.

Caroline Bingley is pretty much a hag in this and is virtually irredeemable. I will say I appreciated how the low hanging fruit of her attempts to ensnare Darcy through fake love letters while he was basically concussed and had temporary amnesia was basically thrust aside at how pathetic an attempt it was.

I think the plot was fin,e as was the execution, but it just didn’t really do anything for me in terms of feeling and having any sort of profound impact.

So this was more a miss than a hit.
