 I enjoyed this book.

This second chance romance between Rowan and Violette was a beautiful read. It was pretty slow at times for me.

I did enjoy seeing Rowan and Hollies friendship bloom, he really stepped up to be the person she deserved to have in her life.

I did the audio which was a duet narration.

Great book, great characters, great plot. The topic of grief was omnipresent but still managed in a way that was really optimistic which I appreciated. 

My beef with second chance romance is usually the miscommunication that comes with it and that 99% of times the reasons for the initial breakup are bullshit. In this case, I had some sympathy with 18yo Rowan, but I guess it's never going to be my favourite trope.

The smut was great, just got a little too repetitive for my liking.
