Hot Damn Rowan Kingsley! I love this group of guys. I guess I didn’t pay much attention to Jacob being mentioned of passing in book one, though I remember it. 

Rowan and Violette have a past and in the beginning we only know that Rowan broke her heart but not the why. As things unravel and we find out he did it to protect her and Jacob. My heart breaks for them both for all the missed years, though she wouldn’t have Hollie if not. Their second chance is everything I love. He’s protective, not only loves Vi, is all in with Hollie from the beginning. Rowan also has a deliciously dirty mouth that I loved! 

I love this type of series, interconnected from different authors. Because when it’s done well it flows and so far this series does. And with each author we get something different at the same time!
