I liked this one better than book 1 but I’m still not as impressed with this series as I thought I would be. It could just be my current mood though 🤷♀️
This second chance was good, but the switch from the insta connection in the first left it feeling a bit ho hum for me. It’s totally a me thing and I’m sure a lot of folks will find this couple super swoonie. The spice is hot when it arrives and Rowan is a dreamy boyfriend, I just had a hard time slowing down from Cal and Scottie.

as my first paisley hope book, this did not disappoint. i loved violette and rowan both and even more together. i loved the emphasis family played throughout the book, it definitely helped flesh out the characters and their past and present selves. the second chance redemption was *chef's kiss*.
