I enjoy anthologies; it's always fun to see bite sized takes on a topic. Especially when it's one as varied as witches. This is a quick read, some of the stories go a little long, but not enough to downgrade the collection. All were good, but some were stronger than others.

Phoenix Rising: I can't say much on this one without spoiling the ending. Suffice to say that revenge is sometimes a dish served very hot...
Tabitha: A ghost seeks revenge; very nice detail on the ghost's personality. Chilling in places, fun read.
The Summoning: Evocative; very intense sustained mood. Enjoyed how the solution was arrived at, with a neat little thrill at the end.
Hidden Consequences: Fat moving, more romantic adventure than horror. This one was a little compressed; it could have benefitted from more development of the characters and the situation.
Dead Girls Don't Cry: Closest to true horror of all the stories, but it needed a little more buildup of the situation and tension...the ending came really fast.
