No, I'm not crying, you're crying.

"Whatever happens to me, I will have lived a thousand normal lives by what I might add to others not yet born."

Thought-provoking

I don't know that I'd use the word enjoyable to describe this book, but I do recommend it for most. My wife, as one example, would not enjoy enjoy this book at all and probably would not finish it. At times, it's a tough read in the sense that it elicits strong sympathies for the main character who has severe mental handicaps and a mother who is both cruel and self-serving. It's a reminder that life is far from fair, and there is a lot of cruelty in this world. The story truly is thought-provoking and worth the time.
