I just enjoy this series so much. Fast paced, quick reads (or listens) that keep me super engaged.
This book was just meh. I was a huge Patterson fan a long time ago, but lost interest and gave him another chance with this one. Not terrible but nothing amazing. Quick read.
Definitely not Patterson’s best work, but I enjoyed the suspense he added to keep the reader on their toes. As always, it has a good resolution but I found that I was reading a lot of unnecessary information throughout the book. Good for a quick and easy read.
I’m glad the Alex Cross novels moved back to full length. I did think this storyline was a little longer than it needed to be. Listened to the audio version.
have not put it down I was hooked from the beginning.
Love this series and The People vs. Alex Cross did not disappoint.
There are two plots in this book. The major one being Alex Cross accused and tried for excessive violence. Killer Cop. Second plot which ends with a major thrilling action was the missing of six blonde women. Chapters are short, the story is fast and overall a page turner.
With dozens of book out annually, I find it difficult to follow James Patterson and so I stop. Almost all the books are published with a coauthor and they are so so books. I decided to stick with the ones I really liked: Alex Cross, Women's Murder Club, RED, and Michael Bennett. Some standalone books were good but not all depending on who the coauthor was.

Typically good Patterson page turner. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Cross remains one of my favorite characters.
This is Patterson's bread and butter and probably his best series, where he appears to actually write it himself.
Cross is on trial but has time to run around and save the world, whilst his perfect children do good things.
It appears the youngest son, named Alex could become the next Alex Cross - Look out for a series of books about Alex Cross Jr - that's my guess.
The resolution to his trial was a little beyond belief.
Overall it was an average Cross outing.

This is the 23rd book of 27 of the Alex Cross series. In June this year, I reviewed the 27th book and professed my love for this series.
Alex Cross is a psychologist and has been working with law enforcement all his life. His commitment to protecting people and finding out the truth has to be tattooed on his arm!
In this book Alex and his family are on trial inside and outside of the courtroom and as he tries to focus on clearing his name he deals with deception and stone walls. The question that can only be answered by reading this one is…will Alex see the inside of a prison and can he survive this?
