This book started strong for me. I loved exploring the deep caves with the characters and fighting the monsters both in the pits and caves. However, post cave fighting became confusing. I could not tell what was going on and the author’s writing made it hard to follow at times. The author doesn’t describe characters in detail so at points I would confuse characters with one another.
