5* - The writing is different than I’m used to but it’s like watching a drama tv show and you want to know more. You feel for the characters and can feel their love or hate. And you want more.
I don’t care that she’s the rain man of clothing, I think I could have gotten through this book if it were much shorter and that would have been achieved if we cut out the in depth descriptions of designer clothing that I could not picture nor recognise.
God these two were insufferable please just sack him off and go with Tom England. I had to stop reading so I could pretend that’s what happened.
Also googled who he cheated on her with just to make sure I was right. I was, obviously.

This book was entertaining and well done but just wasn’t for me. I couldn’t get invested in the characters. It’s hard to relate to uber rich kids with no jobs and little responsibility. I also have little interest in fashion. It just wasn’t for me.

i haven’t really processed how much i enjoyed this book and how invested in these characters i am!! it’s basically a london gossip girl whose main plot is a blair and chuck esque relationship. like get a guy who has 22 tattoos for you ok!!!! magnolia is the ULTIMATE it girl and i simply want her closet. that’s all. ready for more of these star crossed soulmates.
