pretty awful ending. sad confusing story that leads you to think there’s some sort of explanation, even though there can’t be?? then the real explanation is actually 1000x worse than they let us assume. like watching a bad car crash and seeing it in slow motion and the person only crashed bc they chose to intentionally run over a group of puppies. anyway. writing style is nice enough.

1. BJ is the absolute worst and I will not root for him and Magnolia
2. Magnolia is also insufferable and I will not root for her.
3. Christian deserves justice. (He is the only likeable character in this book but that is only because all these characters suck).
4. Totally thought all the side characters were the same person because they had zero personality and were totally indistinguishable from one another. Did not even click that Paili was her best friend.
5. The Elton John as her godfather is giving letters to Ellen Degeneres in It ends with us. Really not the vibe.
6. This book structurally was terrible, I had no idea what year we were in, how old the characters were or how much time passed between each chapter for most of the book.
7. Is this not just the addicted series but set in the London and not as good?
