I was listening to the audiobook borrowed from the library on a road trip. It was fine and entertaining enough to keep me occupied while driving but when I got home I had no desire to finish listening and it autoreturned.

Ali is hilarious and relatable and this is a solid book yadda yadda yadda. But the CLINCHER, the thing that brings it home, is the epilogue written by her husband, Justin. It is incredibly sweet and thoughtful. He offers his own take on some of the events that Ali describes in the preceding chapters. It's kind of like How I Met Your Mother but only better and more sincere. By the last word, I was wiping tears from my eyes.

My favorite parts were about her life in SF, her college time abroad, and her 20-something exploits...
I listened to the audiobook and sometimes she sounded like a 6th-grader reading a report in that sing-song-y way... which surprised me since she’s a performer

Ali Wong is so raw and honest and hilarious. I honestly moved my finger to double tap the Kindle screen at the end of chapter 8, forgetting that that’s only a thing on Instagram.

4.5 star:
Very funny, perfect length for a memoir. Really enjoyed the crude humour, much more than I thought I would. Definitely an 18+ read though.

This book is not just regurgitated stand up and interviews. It is smart and thoughtful and funny as fuck. All of it is so good.
