When I first starting reading Claw, it took me a little bit to get into the story. However, the mystery kept me intrigued. I will admit that I fell for little Eli. The sweet, quiet young man was so adorable. There are some parts in the story where I had to stop and close the book because of the twists and turns the story took. I do recommend you read the prequel first to get an inside look at how Ink and Layla met and how she found out what she was. The ending does end on a small cliffhanger that gets you revved up for the second book! I cannot wait to see how Cal, Layla, and Ink's lives intertwine even further!
