Some specifics that I liked:
- The demi rep is so good! It's not at all half-assed. There's a long, slow connection built between the two MCs before their physical relationship progresses
- The texting is great! I love how their budding relationship & connection + each of their personalities shine through. Hilarious banter & really showcased the wonderful stage of early relationship
- There were so many individual scenes that made me scream with laughter, joy, and feels, but I won't list them all... you'll just have to read it and discover them for yourself :)
- It was so good to see the growth in the relationship between Seth and his brother Foster. If you've read the other CU Hockey books, you know Foster from the first installment and kind of have an idea of what Seth and Foster's relationship is like. I loved getting to see Seth's complex feelings about it, and watch their relationship grow and improve throughout this book.
