I actually like Volume 2 more than Volume 1. I can't really put my finger on why.

The illustration of The Sleer, both as mist and as solid once it had found it's master, was fantastic. And my complaint about Jack's appearance was gone in this volume. He was both innocent in appearance and then beautifully intimidating, and scary.

I didn't cry at the end, but I was sad, like I was when I first read the book. Beautifully done, and absolutely perfect.

I found myself sobbing for most of the final chapter. I'm so glad I found these two graphic novelisations so I could revisit one of my all-time favourites!

Full RTC.

An excellent graphic novel adaptation to the conclusion of The Graveyard Book. Fine art, Gaiman's writing, an interesting storyline, and a quick read.
