3 stars for the well-written highly readable translation, but otherwise, I am simply not an Aeneas fan because he's not even horrible in an entertaining way (See: Odysseus and Gilgamesh).
Having said that I think the implications about Augustus' mythmaking, and Vergil's relationship with that is very interesting in this, as compared, say, to the propaganda in Ovid's Metamorphoses.
