It already seems like this series is going to be dragged out I fear. Also why does she describe every noise as a hiss? The dress hissed on the floor, someone hisses in pain… every thing is hissing. Please find a new word for the love of god. Also if you listen to the audiobooks they change the pronunciation of multiple words to HORRIBLE alternatives. It’s the same voice actor but she butchers her pronunciation of multiple repeat words.

This book is what I expected Maas to write. There was a more shocking plot and the

slow burn romance

was perfect for my tastes. The political aspect of the book is similar to fourth wing 🙌.

This will be my all time top favorite story. The hype is real. If you are thinking about reading just do it. I’m new to fantasy I could not put this down. The detail and character development and story is just so realist and mind blowing. I loved this plot and just ate it up. Beautifully written the story behind these characters is just amazing. Would rate it a million trillion starts. The amount of emotion I felt reading this. I tabbed so many parts I ran out of stickies. This is just an A+++++. Must read and will never stop thinking about these characters and their story.

Just still wow, can’t not even process how much I loved this. Read this with a friend because you will want someone to talk about the craziness of this story. Could not put down will stay up all night if your not careful. This story will always be in my brain and heart as I truly loved it.

"It'd just been a relief to think that for a moment, [Rhysand] might have been as lonely as me." - Feyre

Wow! How is the second book in the series better than the first? I did not expect any of what happened to happen. 

Rhysand was probably the biggest curveball for me. I didn't expect him to be so caring and

he sacrificed so much for his people and those close to him.

It was so heartbreaking when he talked about Under The Mountain, yet he still found time to be there for Feyre when

she was struggling with her nightmares.

I can't believe I would say this, especially after reading the entirety of book one, but

Fuck Tamlin, I could not believe him. From the beginning, he acted like he wasn't awake as Feyre puked her brains out!

The ending wasn't what I expected and I am shook on what will happen next! I think I might need a moment before I start the next book because I need to mentally prepare myself!

This book—wow. Why did it take me so long to finish it?! This was really a rollercoaster of emotions and I was certainly not prepared for what was coming. It was written so freaking well! It was so, so good. Love, hate, everything. I wanted to trash the book (not really, love this baby) because SJM wrote it so well. Could you get through all the stages of happiness and grief in a minute. It's a ride, but it's definitely worth it. When you finished the first book, don't let it take too long to finish the second becauze I regret that part. Good thing though: I started my year and finished January with a really good book. I'm still utterly shocked that I don't know what to say except for that it was so good. And I will repeat that.
