I read Her Wild Roommate a month ago while I was still trying to extend my daily Kindle reading streak (it got up to 212 before dying!). It was a short book I picked up for free during a Stuff Your Kindle Event (a free giveaway of mostly self-published romance novels), and so I decided to give it a shot.
It's a steamy novel about a woman, Ally, in a bad relationship with a jerk, Kyle, who doesn't appreciate her. She's been best friends with her roommate, Liam, for years and has watched him date around without him ever being too serious about anyone.
One night, after Liam accidentally walks in on Ally & Kyle having sex in their living room, she finds out Kyle's been cheating on her and breaks up with him. There's nothing too surprising in this short novel (assuming you know it's spicy!) but it's a fun friends-to-lovers story with a pretty funny ending. Apparently, Adele Knight has written a whole series (I'm not sure if the other books follow this couple) but I don't have much interest in continuing it...
