If you are interested in the occasionally funny, rambling, inner monologue of a horny and unstable woman... have I got the book for you.

I listened to the audiobook. That being said, I think if I had been trying to read the physical copy I would’ve given up on it. However, i get why this was a big book in the 70s when it was written. It’s sort of the feminist version of Catcher in the Rye, etc. And I just GET the high brow nature of it. I didn’t love it, but I understand what it was going for and why it was revolutionary.

I want my time back for this one. Ugh. There were some funny bits but they were not worth having to slog through the whole book.

HATED this book. Read it for a class. More than 20 years of regret.
