I think I would have rated it higher cause for what it's supposed to be, a retelling of a myth, it is solid. I just was a little disgusted/horrified by the story itself that I ended the book mad and upset

I thoroughly enjoyed the read. The only reason I give this less stars to this than I do TSOA or CIRCE is because I personally appreciate the story less. The writing is perfect, as can be expected from Miller. 
It is powerful, and the message is haunting.
