Eeeeep!!

I am devouring this series and loving it! The action and romance are spot on. Neither too over done. Also, very few grammatical errors. Grammatical errors are a pet peeve and very distracting, luckily that is not an issue here!

This was AMAZING! Even better than the first. No way better than the first and that was a super great book which says a lot.
This trilogy and the Walker Saga are super special awesome! Can't wait for book #3 and book #7 of the Walker Saga!

I found Dragon Mystics to be an entertaining read and a good continuation of the Supernatural Prison trilogy. This series is proving to be fast paced and the characters are fleshed out well. The inter actions between the quads and Jessa are great, even with a shifting dynamic, and I think showing the problems with Mischa and how she is the weak link was well done.

My one complaint is that there could be a little more attention to detail on the world building. I’m still a little confused on the councils function, are they only to oversee the towns or also the prisons? If they are supposed to oversee the prisons they seem to be rather disconnected from some of the major operating points. I also do not understand how the original 4 can go in and out without any of the councils being the wiser. This does not really detract from the story though.

Overall I think it’s a fun read and a great release from an indie author, even if we are left with a cliff hanger and I’ll have to wait a couple more months for the last book.

Soooo good!

This story is so compelling! Sexy, and funny and intruiging! Love all the characters! Can't wait to read book 3!

OBSESSED

So far this series has had me hooked !!! I can’t put it down!! Literally just finished book two and now gonna start 3 . I finished book 1 last night/ this morning. Then immediately started book two!!! I need to know if Braxton gets her back!!!!

The Four vigorously hunt for Jessa, determined to stop the rise of the Dragon King, but they are the very LEAST of Jessa's worries. The real enemy lies within the midst of the dragon marked ranks. How do you discern your enemies from your friends when you can't trust the entirety of your pack; your own flesh-and-blood? Jessa will have to answer that question quick if she is to have any allies to stand with her against the real enemy.

The unparalleled bond between Jessa and her pack continue to astound me. Though it is not the exclusive mateship it once was, the branches their pack have made may prove to be for the better. Additions of old and new will alter the dynamics of pack life, strengthening some aspects will also weakening few others. But in all, pack is pack, and it leaves no member abandoned.

This book is most notably centered on Jessa's own growth as a person, dual-shifter, and dragon marked. She will face challenges unlike anything she could have feared before; challenges of her strength, prowess, control, survival, and most of all her heart. Like most challenges, though, she won't have to face them alone. However, will her family be enough to protect her from the biggest challenge of her life; that of the rise of the Dragon King? One thing is for sure; Jessa has never needed her family more than she does now. They are her only hope of weathering the thundering storm headed straight for her.

So, Jessa and Braxton are true mates (but, let's be real, we all knew that); as are Jessa and Larkspur: aka The Dragon King (which at least some of us had to have suspected. I know I did.) Jessa must choose one of them to spend her eternity with, and though the choice is obvious, fate is determined to make Jessa work for her right to love and happiness, and the choice seems to be less and less simple as an "I choose you." No. Fate has plans for Jessa, and unfortunately they seem to have something to do with one psychotic-Dragon-King. Oh, yes. Jessa is in for one Hell of a test. Time will tell whether she will pass of fail. CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT!!! This last book CANNOT come soon enough!!

Did anyone seriously fall for the “we need to retrieve an important tool” schtick? 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is the first book I have pre-ordered in a long time. I reaaaallly wanted to find out what happened to Jessa and the rest of her pack. It ends on a cliffhanger , but overall it was a fun quick read. Dragon mystics takes place after the first book, right where we left off
Spoilerright after they get off the plane to Romania.
There are a lot of interesting twists and turns, but I just want to find out what happens to them.

Second time read, first time review.

Dragon Mystics is still receiving the same rating I gave it the first time. I absolutely love this series. Jess and the four compasses are such an amazing group of friends. Heck, the romances even were hot. I was so happy that I got some glimpses of Braxton and Jessa together again. Mischa is still the annoying sister to me because she just seems to ruin things somehow. It's like her gift.

Now besides Mischa annoying me, the siren twins were beyond annoying. Once they were introduced I already knew that they were trouble. I wasn't surprised (again) when they turned out to be evil. However, I did love the guys at the end. THEY WENT SAVAGE! I loved it. I love how protective they are about Jessa.. like Mischa who? They will do anything and everything to protect the one they love: Jessa. I love their whole alpha pack so much that I can't wait to dive back into the third book.

I miss everyone already. I want to see more romance, revenge, and I don't know what else.. maybe a happy ending. I just need more guys! Overall, I loved this book. Jaymin does a great job of skipping the terrible sequel trend. I wish that this series never ends.. but since I've already read it I know it does. Here's to wishful thinking?!?
