Dark, angry, sapphic witches- yes please. Horror and mystery and a gorgeous world, I deeply loved this.

Embarrassing similes and metaphors I think. Predictable, which isn't always bad, but certainly did not keep me on the edge of my seat.

Sort of cool concept, except it annoyed me that
it devolved into one of those crime books where a psychopath man kills a bunch of women. It's tired. It's overdone. It's not what I signed up to read. Also the heavy handed neoliberal-Ness of it all.

Oh! Also I hate that
"Girl don't kill him then you are just as bad!" No girl rip him to fucking pieces! Also ooc for Natasha who is solely fueled by rage to NOT kill homeboy.

took a really sharp anti-men turn that seemed kinda rad-fem ish and i had to put the book down

also there was no real mention of the Indigenous peoples who were colonized which was weird and offputting as a rlly nature centered magical realism book
