It felt like a rambling hurried attempt to round up a story… and it had a sort of lame ending. Disappointed in this.. as the first 2 books were such wonderfully written masterpieces of fantasy.. and the 3rd, bough not my favorite was still enjoyable enough to keep me going. This was a slow crawl towards book death. This is just my opinion of course.

A bit of a letdown after three strong books. Felt unnecessarily long and very confusing. I had a hard time understanding the ending, and there were several distracting side plots that were never really resolved. An enjoyable read still, but after the wonderful world building and real drama and tension of the first three, this conclusion left something to be desired. Also, #justiceforthorn!
