The best part of the book was the part with the Crows❤️❤️
I also just didn’t like Hanne or Nina at all in this duology especially the, together
I was honestly really tired of the Darkling and feel like this book could’ve had a way better plot
I do love Zoya and Nikolai together though p & their dialogue was good

Quotes
“But that was what Nina wanted, for Fjerda to stop seeing Brum and his drüskelle as men to be feared and to acknowledge them for what they were: scared bullies worthy of scorn, not adulation.”
“A king with a demon inside him. A monk with the Darkling inside him. A general with a dragon inside her. We’re all monsters now, Nikolai.”
“‘Go on,’ the queen said. ‘Do what you were made to do.’ Rayem’s fist clenched. Mayu screamed and collapsed to her knees as her brother broke every bone in her hand.”
“As you king, I should tell you that no one could dissuade me. No Prince and no power could make me stop wanting you.”
“Someone must stand at the doorway between worlds, between the void and creation.”

Love the whole series. It ended in such a good way but unexpected. Can't wait for more

Well leigh bardugo has done it again this book made me cry and scream. This feels like an ending but also it doesn't? Like more could come in the future and Idk if I want it or fear it but only time will tell.

Truly one of my favourite books out there!
