I really liked this book.....until the end. It held my attention the whole time. From start to finish, I couldn't put it down. But the ending was so like "Are you freakin kidding me?!"

This book is something I didn't want to put down. I took it to school, read it on the bus and at any point at home. today is the day where I read around the last 100 pages of it. when I finished it, my brain couldn't handle it so I went to goodreads to write a review and now i'm just ranting.

This book is breathless and I never wanted to put it down. it is beautifully written and contain the right amount of detail. this book is so amazing and the aspect of the characters are amazing as well. when I picked up this book, I was motivated to keep reading because of how good it is and because I need to finish it to start another one. Ever is confused about what to do and the way she handles situations may not be the best. At the end of the book when she has to decide between Roman and Rayne, it is jaw dropping. when I read, I feel like I get sucked into the book watching everything happening as an observer on the side. So "watching" then end of the book in my head and screaming "NO" in my head as if it were a horror movie and the main character is going towards the killer or the noise he/she heard. This is basically how I felt at the end of this book but I loved every moment of it. This movie inside my head was the best hour I spent sitting on my desk chair and I'm hoping for more adventures like this, to come. Let me just take a moment to say a few things about the love triangle. Last year, my friend would tell me about mangas she read and animes that she watched. She would tell me about the love triangles and I would just stand there listening in "aww" because sof how fascinating the storylines were but also about the romance. I am a sucker for romance in books like this and the drama of the love and the love triangles. I have to admit, Alyson Noel, really knows how to get readers attention with the love part. Well, ever since my friend stopped telling me about what she read so much, I hoped to find writing like that with those of that subject. I started reading mangas, and I've seen a couple animes and they are fantastic. But last summer I read the hush hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick and I longed to find another series like that. This book, Blue Moon, compares to it. Although I have to be honest, I liked hush, hush a little better. The love triangle in this book compares to the other series, and this book it amazing. The triangle between Haven, Josh and Roman. I would say the next on is like a square because its Damen, Drina, Ever and Roman.
You see, centuries ago when Damen and Drina met, Drina has had her heart out for him. But Damen kept a close eye on Ever because he loved her. Roman loved Drina but Drina didn't look at him the same way, she looked at Damen who had no interest in her. Roman was pretty upset about it and Drina was upset because he loved Ever. But when Ever and Damen finally met, things got complicated and blah blah blah... Ever kills Drina which leaves Roman heart broken and Drina out of the way for Damen and Ever. To sum it all up to the point before Drina was killed... Damen loves Ever and Ever loves Damen but Drina loves Damen and Roman loves Drina so more like a deformed shape, something like that.
This book does teach us stuff. If you love someone, you will do anything for them. You will have a blind spot to things that might hurt them if you're doing something good. Don't let love over power your ability to think things through. Don't let people get to your head. Let them think what they want. If you have true friends, they will never leave you and will stay by your side unless some creepy guy named Roman comes and hypnotizes them.

Okay. I kind of liked this book in the beginning. It intrigued me. The back of the book made it sound completely different than what it ended up being. Which was pretty darn stupid.

And okay... For the very end.... Seriously, WHAT kind of 600-year-old villain makes their revenge punishment SO EVER AND DAMEN CAN'T EVER HAVE SEX, or he'll die. Stupidest revenge plot ever. And why did Ever believe Roman--after not trusting him the ENTIRE book-- over Rayne--who admittedly was slightly rude but was in Summerland, we're the evil Rogue Immortals can't go. Hello, Roman has a freaking Rogue Immortal tattoo!! And also.... Yes, I'm sure Roman was going to act all intent on killing Damen because he thought Damen killed Drina, then frantically try to save him when finding out Ever really killed him. So stupid.
