Couldn't put it down
I rarely read ghost stories...I'm more an urban fantasy reader. This may have been outside my normal genre, but it was compelling enough that I read straight through over the course of a day. Really enjoyed it. Glad I picked it up 😊

I love haunted house novels, and this one did not disappoint. Daniel is a great main character, and I was instantly intrigued by by the plot. The entire book was very exciting, and all of the elements fit well together at the end. The setting was mysterious and frightening, something I always look for in a good book. It was very imaginative. A real page turner!
It was definitely a satisfying ghost story. I loved the MC and most of his choices. Although his ability to believe everything he hears is annoying, it makes for a good story
The plot was pretty straight forward but it was still enjoyable. The main character was super sweet and kind which is refreshing for a horror book.

Plot
This is not a horror, but it is a story about ghosts and monsters. It reads fast, tough I didn't have a problem putting it down. It engages, but it doesn't suck you in. The plot itself is pretty predictable, but served in a pleasant way. I really don't know what else to say. I suspect that it's a book that I will soon forget.
Hired to be the caretaker of a super creepy, abandoned old house where it’s rumored a mother went crazy and killed here child, who wouldn’t want that job? Lol I like this story. I hated his cousin though. What a jerk. I was definitely invested in this story. Who’s right? Who’s wrong? What’s behind the locked door to the tower? Why so many rules? I had to know. lol
