This was a 3.5 star read for me.
Interesting enough to keep my attention but not enough to get a higher rating.
The main character Daniel was a likable character. A good person but incredibly naive. He kept on believing the wrong person and ignored his insticts and when doubt did arise he did not do enough research before taking action. Saying anything else will be spoilers.
The books was also not scary enough. Read it at night alone and it might spook you but not during daytime. An enjoyable one time read.

there is SO much subtext in this book between daniel and bran that i really can't think straight enough to offer a semi-serious review. every interaction between them just leaves me breathless.... there's so much passion... i want to live in a giant mansion with my kind-of ghost boyfriend and an adopted cat
