I enjoyed this book and it was a fast read. I liked the twists and turns and never quite knowing who to trust. This will definitely be a re-read in the fall.

I think out of all the Darcy Coates book. This one is my least favorite but doesn’t mean it wasn’t good.

I liked the storyline but it felt rushed through out the book and I didn’t like Eliza. I did like the ending of the book it did tie up the story pretty well.

If you are looking for a book for Halloween, don't neglect one by Darcy Coates, just not this one. I am a fan of Coates, but this novel rolls out at a slow and stubborn pace with a protagonist as bright as a bag of rocks. And once the narrative ends, it overstays its welcome taking an eternity wrapping things up.

A very satisfying fall read. I enjoyed this. I also couldn't help picturing Paul Bettany as Bran lol!

I get why the majority of the reviews say this isn't a good book. The plot line is interesting but once you get to the climax of the story, it just lets you down. I found the ending to be dragged out a little. Didn't really need all the updates. I liked all the elements that were in the story. Ghosts. Shape shifters.

The story of Craven Manor stole a little bit of my heart. I read this in just a few hours. Where it wasn’t as scary as I expected, it was heartfelt in its own twisted way. I felt for the characters and appreciated the story behind each of them. Don’t get me wrong it had its spooky moments, but i appreciated the plot more than anything. Plus, it’s on Kindle Unlimited
